Green Home Solutions Brings Franchise System Together for Annual Conference

Every year, Green Home Solutions brings members of its entire system together for an annual conference. The event is designed to be a place to connect, learn and share success stories and best practices, and 2017’s conference proved to be one of the most powerful that the brand has experienced yet.

Green Home Solutions’ conference took place in November at a beach resort in Miami, Florida. In between the usual networking and social events, members of the brand’s team had the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions and panels to discuss what fueled Green Home Solutions’ success in 2017 as well as what lies ahead in the new year. On the heels of adding 65 units and 15 franchisees to its system since the start of the year, Green Home Solutions’ is gearing up to surpass its achievements in 2018. According to founder and Chief Cultural Officer Russ Weldon, that goal is going to become a reality because of the strong foundation that the brand currently boasts.

“Our franchisees and corporate team have gelled together to create a cohesive business model, and our conference demonstrated that perfectly,” he said. “We’re in a great position for growth right now. We know where we are and what we’re looking for when it comes to franchisees and our business model. And it’s clear that our transition to becoming an indoor air quality company is working. One of our speakers at this year’s convention was a customer from Connecticut who was able to tell our entire system how Green Home Solutions saved her life. Before we treated her home, she was—in her own words—dying. But now, she’s able to leave her home as a healthy and happy person for the first time in 25 years. Her experience with Green Home Solutions is more than just a story, too. It’s measurable results. We’re able to test our customers’ homes before and after we treat them to show what exactly our products are doing to eliminate harmful toxins and allergens from the air.”

In addition to hearing examples of how Green Home Solutions is making a difference in the local communities it calls home, the brand’s convention also gave franchisees the opportunity to attend a variety of panels and discussions. One of the most popular was the Round Table Discussion, where employees were grouped together with experts to discuss best practices and provide feedback. Green Home Solutions’ CEO Jeff Panella also teamed up with Weldon to recognize some of the top talent in the company. They announced 2017’s gold themed awards, with Brian Brady receiving the “Hole in One” award, Chris Cutter and Glenn Klauser taking home the trophy for “Rookies of the Year” and the “Green Jacket Masters” being awarded to David Robles, just to name a few.

Franchisees and corporate team members all left Green Home Solutions’ conference with renewed motivation to make a difference in the new year. Between the brand’s merging position as a leader in the indoor air quality industry to its ongoing efforts to give back—as demonstrated by its initiative to help rebuild in communities across Texas after Hurricane Harvey hit—Green Home Solutions is eager to take the lessons and best practices learned at its conference and apply them to its 160-plus units across the country.

“The convention had a lot to offer everyone involved. Of course, the beach and palm trees in Miami served as a beautiful backdrop. But the real-life stories that were shared were just as powerful, and we’re proud to be able to bring our entire system together,” said Glen Snyder, Chief Development Officer for Green Home Solutions. “Green Home Solutions is providing a service that’s changing people’s lives. As we take what we learned from the convention and apply it to our system—both from a corporate and franchisee perspective—in the new year, our goal is to never lose sight of that fact.”
